Asalamualaykum Warahmatullah,
Three years of university has come to a close.
As I sit here watching things move on so quickly around me whilst I feel as though i'm pushing against it trying to make time slow down, I feel ... empty.
How does so long end so quick.
Is it possible to be in something for some time and feel ready to move on?
It's weird being surrounded by people who are just ready to leave, or are happy that things are over.
Things that you are supposed to cherish.
This is the period in life that you look back on when you are in your older years, don't we want to take a moment to reflect and ponder, and let it sink it?
Its strange to think that the people you have lived with, gotten to know, gotten used to, is never going to happen again. We are all going to move on. It's not going to be like this forever.
As I sit and contemplate how I am going to pack up 3 years of my life, I think of what the future has in store, and how all this time is going to look in a year from now.
Having spoken to people who have university in their past, they just seem to have moved on and thats that.
It's crazy to think that such a massive part of your life, where you have grown so much and learnt so much can just end in a split second.
The days I have left are running by.
During exam time, all I could think of was finishing and enjoying my free time, now it doesn't seem like theres even time for that.
Its that unsettling feeling that even when you are relaxing you feel like you have so much you need to do, but then you want to catch up on the rest that you missed.
Time is just confusing.
Change is just hard.
Moving on is just a must.
